I hope everyone had a nice weekend! I sure did. It was really nothing special, but it was nice. On Saturdays my husband and I started (about 4) years ago, naming it grandparents day. We take our grandchild or grandchildren out for lunch and maybe do something after lunch. But it usually is just us and the grandchildren. Well my youngest daughter, who has our granddaughter and lives here, has chosen to go with us on some of the Saturdays. Its actually ok though. Well we really want it to be grandparents day, but how do we tell her that. I love seeing her too, but we do see her during the week quite a bit lol.
Then on Sunday we went out to breakfast at Golden Corral (my absolute favorite place). And then I actually got to go to church with my husband. That is not always an easy task. Does anyone else have that problem? Sometimes its like pulling teeth to get him to go.
Then we went and helped some friends move. That was a nice time. They have 5 children, but i am closest to the 2 younger ones. So my contribution to helping was to keep an eye on them. Which was fine by me.
