Well during the holidays money gets real tight in my house. Im sure you know what I am talking about. Sometimes a bill or 2 gets ..... lets say neglected. The bill that got "neglected" was our Time Warner Cable bill. So we lived without cable for a while.
I started looking into other ways to watch t.v. I found out you could do alot on your computer without cable. I started using Netflix and Hulu plus. I was ecstatic. Then I signed on with Windstream. I just got the home phone service and their internet. I can not tell you how happy we are. First and foremost their customer service is wonderful. They have been so nice to me. The only thing I am finding is that you have to stay on top of your bill. If you see a problem call them and they are more than happy to help with your situation.
Windstream also has this box (that you purchase for a minimal amount) called Roku. You pay for the box and you DO NOT pay any monthly fees on it. This is so great. I love love love it. I can see most of my regular shows (just a little later than they are normally on). That's what we did most of the time anyways with Time Warner. We recorded the shows and watched them when we could. Right?
I, for one, am not going back to cable. I find that Time Warner is way to expensive and their customer service isn't all that great either. I really like this company (Windstream). I don't want to offend anyone that does have Time Warner. This is just my opinion.
